We are proud to announce the development of a Mobile Clinic in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in partnership with the Center for Critical Interdisciplinary Studies.
The clinic will be solar powered and capable of crossing rough terrain in order to provide assistance to those normally inaccessible due to lack of adequate infrastructure.
The primary purpose of the mobile clinic with be to treat malaria and diabetes wound care.
Our founder, Dr. Gery Maes van de Vorst was raised in the DRC and this mobile clinic is one of several projects to be launched there. The DRC is a country highly affected by the globalization of sugar consumption and general industrialization that does little to support local inhabitants.
Stay tuned for more announcements as we move forward with implementation in the new year.
